Danielle Glista is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Principal Investigator at the National Centre for Audiology, and Director of the Connected Hearing Healthcare Lab at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Glista’s research program advances technology-enabled and virtual models of hearing healthcare through the development, evaluation, and implementation of collaborative, person-centred approaches to care. Her work integrates human-centred design with real-world implementation science to support the adoption and scale-up of innovative hearing care solutions, including virtual care, mHealth tools, and remote service delivery across diverse clinical and community contexts. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and mixed-methods research, Dr. Glista engages clinicians, patients, families, and community and industry partners in the co-design of equitable and sustainable models of hearing healthcare that advance access, strengthen readiness for participation in care, and improve outcomes across the lifespan.
